10. Micro Teatro Por Dinero
The Micro offers a very unique Top 10 Madrid nightlife experience. Enter at the bar, mingle for a while, keeping your ticket in-hand and ready. When your time comes, you will be shepherded downstairs to the theater area. Once there, you and about 10 other unsuspecting guests can begin to enjoy the show. And by “enjoy,” we mean be a part of. The themes of the shows change continuously; you won’t ever know what to expect – romantic comedy, murder mystery, or who knows! But you can be sure you will get to play a part. Open Mon-Thu 7 PM - 1 AM, Fri 7 PM - 2:30 AM, Sat 11 AM - 2:30 PM, then 6 PM - 2:30 AM, and Sun 11 AM - 2:30 PM, then 6 PM - 12 AM.
9. Tupperware
Outrageous kitsch is the name of the game at this postmodern Top 10 Madrid juke joint. The older, chill crowd and the armchairs provide an invitation to romantic encounters amid the fake-fur and faux-cool 70s psychedelia and the acid jazz, house and soul tunes. Nightly, 7 PM - 3 AM (3:30 AM on weekends)
8. Fábrica Maravillas
Beer lovers simply cannot pass up a trip to Fabrica Maravillas, which deservingly hops onto our Top Ten Madrid breweries. The crafty cervezas, modern environment, and friendly staff all speak to our inner hipster. There’s a long list of beverages to choose from—all custom made on-site at this brewpub. Open Mon – Wed 6 PM - 12 AM, Thu 6 PM - 1 AM, Fri 6 PM - 2 AM, Sat 12:30 PM - 2 AM, and Sun 12:30 PM - 12 AM.
7. Fabrik
A giant megaclub that can fit a whopping 10,000 people, Fabrik is the go-to destination for your inner (or outer!) raver. It plays host to some of the largest trance, house, and techno nights Spain has to offer, and because Fabrik is located a bit outside the city, no need to worry about keeping the neighbors awake. Be sure to check out the terrace; it has its own river! Book ahead online to be sure you can get in! Open Saturday 5 PM - 6 AM, Sunday 5 PM - 12 AM.
6. El Chapandaz
AKA The Cave Bar, which it certainly lives up to the name. A favorite Top 10 Madrid hangout among students, it’s a famous for hanging stalagmites! The house liquor is called, “Leche de Pantera” (Panther’s Milk), and is an acquired taste for some. You’ll have plenty of time to acquire that taste as you sip from the fish bowl-sized glasses the drink comes in- sharing with your group is okay, as they open 5 PM and close 4:30 AM Sun - Wed, 5:30 AM Thu, and 6 AM Fri & Sat.
5. 1862 Dry Bar
The perfect cocktail can be found right here at the 1862 Dry Bar in the middle of Malasana. This cocktail connoisseur’s dream has a way-too-comfy basement where you might find yourself leisurely watching the hours pass by, one artful concoction after another. Helpful, friendly, and very knowledgeable staff are there to guide you in exploring well-known classics like Old-Fashioneds and Cosmopolitans, or intriguing house specials at this Top 10 Madrid nightclub. 4. Cafetin La Quimera
Authentic, traditional, and intimate flamenco will be found at the Cafetin La Quimera. Located on Calle Sancho Davila, a bit away from the usual tourist circuits, it’s well worth the trip for those seeking true flamenco dancing without the touristy flair. You won’t find any mic’d up singers or speakers—this is the real deal! La Quimera has danced its way into our hearts and onto our Top Ten Madrid flamenco venues. This behemoth of a nightclub comes in at number three at our Top 10 Madrid clubs. Seven floors of heart-pounding, ground-shaking, monster beats offer something for everyone, no matter your taste. This place has all of your clubbing needs met; craft cocktail bars, karaoke rooms, giant dance floors, and upper decks with quiet spaces to chill out and cool down in. Open 5:30 PM- 10:30 PM, then 12 AM - 6 AM Fri & Sat, and 12 AM - 6 AM Thu & Sun.

No, Madrid isn't all just flamenco and nightclubs. For a bit of “haute” culture, look no further than the internationally renowned, Teatro Real de Madrid. Touted as one of the greatest theaters in Europe, you can enjoy classic and modern performances ranging from Verdi to Philip Glass. Completing our Top 10 Madrid nightlife is the enchanting, Cardamomo Tablo Flamenco. Experience breathtaking modern flamenco in an intimate venue (with excellent sangria). With tables so close to the music and dancing, you’ll feel like you’re whirling with the best of them. The music and skill of the dancers are renowned throughout the city, so if you only decide to see one flamenco show (which you must) then you can't go wrong heading here.
